Manufacturing Firm, located in Westchester, seeks a Controller

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing financial statements on a monthly basis
• Analyzing inventory on a monthly basis
• Preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations and general ledger
• Preparing financial analysis schedules
• Handling payment of all bills
• Cash flow forecasting
• Budgeting
• Ad hoc reporting
• Handling treasury related functions including cash reporting, tracking import shipments, paying vendors, maintaining cash requirement reports

 

 The right candidate will have:

• 8+ years experience in manufacturing or distribution
• Heavy general ledger, month-end close and financial statement preparation experience
• International finance skills preferred
• International experience is a big plus
• Treasury experience is a plus
• Inventory and costing experience is highly preferred
• Solid cash management skills
• Detail oriented and able to deal with people at all levels
• CPA a big plus
• Experience with ABL (borrowing base) reporting is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
