Family owned service organization seeks a Controller to take charge of the accounting functions and supervise the staff.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
• Handling or overseeing all daily accounting responsibilities including the general ledger, payroll, accounts payable and collections
• Preparing bank reconciliations, depreciation schedules, accruals and related accounting functions
• Preparing daily cash activity reports
• Month end reporting
• Develop operating budgets

The right candidate should have:
• BS or BBA in Accounting
• CPA with a combination of CPA firm and private industry experience, minimum of 8 years experience
• Experience with multi-state sales tax reporting and filings
• Payroll tax experience
• Ability to take charge of an accounting department and supervise staff
• Strong organizational skills
• Solid communication skills
